Delivery & Pickup Policy
This page sets out exactly how ordering, pickup and local delivery work at Fruityland Ice Cream Corporation, so there are no surprises.
Pickup
- Pickup is free at 4610 N Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60625, United States, during opening hours.
- Order ahead and we hold your items at the counter under your name and order reference.
- Ready times are usually 30–60 minutes for small orders. Party trays and quart bundles need at least three days' notice.
- If you cannot collect the same day, call us — most items can be held in our freezer until the next day, but we will not hold an uncollected order longer than that.
Opening hours
- Monday – Thursday: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Friday – Saturday: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Local delivery
- Area: within 5 miles of 4610 N Kedzie Ave, Chicago, IL 60625, United States, which covers Albany Park, Ravenswood Manor, North Park and the surrounding blocks. If you are just outside, call us and we will usually still make it work.
- Minimum order: $25.00 before tax.
- Fee: $6.99 per delivery, free on orders over $75.00 before tax.
- Windows: during opening hours, usually within two hours of order confirmation. We agree a window with you by email or phone before we leave the shop.
- We do not deliver after closing hours or on days when the shop is closed.
How orders are packed
Frozen items travel in insulated liners with gel packs. Quarts, party trays and pops are packed last so they leave the freezer as close to departure as possible. Please put everything into a freezer as soon as it arrives.
Receiving a delivery
- Someone needs to be at the address to receive the order; we do not leave frozen food unattended.
- If nobody answers, we will call the number on the order. If we cannot reach you after two attempts we return the order to the shop and the delivery fee is not refunded. The items themselves are kept for you until the next day.
- If anything is missing or not right, tell the driver or contact us the same day so we can put it right — see the refund policy.
Taxes and totals
Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax of 10.25% (Chicago, Illinois) is added to your order at checkout. The final total you see on the checkout page, plus any fee shown there, is what you pay; there are no other charges and no service fees.
